The Petitioner has initiated the proceedings before the Wakf Board on 06.05.2024. The Writ Petition is filed on the second day after vacation i.e. 11.06.2024 seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to decide the proceedings, out of turn. 2.

Time and again, we have passed orders declining to issue directions to take up matters, out of turn. There are several litigants in queue, who are eager to have their proceedings decided. As per the dates of lodging, such matters have to be decided.

In view of the above, we would not issue a Writ of Mandamus for an out of turn hearing in the said proceedings. The Authority shall decide the said proceedings considering the date of it's lodging and in queue with all litigants. The Writ Petition is disposed off.
