20.06.2019 P.C. :- Mr. Jarare the learned advocate submits that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court the petitioner had approached the Tahsildar to declare the petitioner as protected tenant, however no decision is taken on it as yet. The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all the respondents. 2.

If the proceedings are pending with the Tahsildar for declaration of petitioner being a protected tenant then Tahsildar naturally has to decide it on its own merit and after hearing all parties concerned. The said proceedings would be in the nature of a quasi judicial proceedings. An opportunity will have to be given to all the interested persons. 3.

The petitioner may approach the Tahsildar and present all the

( 2 ) 956 wp 7487.19 documents. The Tahsildar shall after issuing notices to all concerned persons and after hearing all the parties decide the said proceedings in accordance with law expeditiously.

In case even thereafter the proceedings are not decided by the Tahsildar expeditiously then the petitioner may agitate his grievance afresh. Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
