Mr. Halkude, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the rental compensation as per the Award passed by the Reference Court is not paid to petitioners. The petitioners are paid rental compensation as per the award passed by the Land Acquisition Officer/Collector.

The representation is given to the Collector and the Acquiring Body. However, no cognizance is taken. 2.

The petitioners may file application to the competent authority claiming rental compensation. The competent authority shall decide the claim of petitioners for rental compensation within a period of nine (09) months from the date of filing of the application after hearing all

Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs.
