Having considered the submissions of the learned Advocate for the respective sides and noticing that the petitioner has a statutory remedy of preferring an appeal to the Appellate Authority in the light of the document handed over by the learned ASGI to the Court, which is marked as "X" for identification, that we granted a pass over to the learned Advocate for the petitioners to take instructions. 2.

The learned Advocate submits on instructions that the petitioner desires to withdraw this petition to avail of the remedy. He, however, makes a request that as this Court had earlier protected him by order khs/June 2022/6507

- 2 - dated 04.04.2022 in WP No.1230/2022, the said protection be continued for a period of 4 (four) weeks. The learned ASGI submits that the protection should not be continued.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off, as withdrawn with liberty to avail of the statutory remedy as set out in the document "X". The protection granted by this Court on 04.04.2022 for a period of 4 (four) weeks after the impugned order is passed, would be continued till 15.07.2022, provided the petitioner prefers the appeal on or before 08.07.2022.
