Grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that he is not being granted proper pay fixation by extending benefit of one annual increment for the year 2017.

It is the case of the petitioner that upon his service being terminated, an appeal was filed before the School Tribunal. The School Tribunal disposed of the said appeal in the light of compromise terms dated 18.03.2019, signed between the petitioner and the Management of the School.

In this backdrop, the Headmaster of the School forwarded a proposal for grant of such relief to the petitioner, to the Education Officer who, in turn, on 19.10.2020, forwarded the proposal to Respondent No.2- the Deputy Director of Education, Nashik Division for consideration. Till date, there is no decision on the said proposal. It is

919wp7822-25 brought to the notice of this Court that the Headmaster of the School, again on 26.04.2024, approached Respondent No.3 Education Officer (Secondary) for grant of such relief of pay fixation to the petitioner, but, there is no further action in the matter. It is further noticed that the petitioner, recently on 21.04.2025, approached Respondent No.3 Education Officer for decision in the matter at the earliest. 4.

Considering the aforesaid facts, we are of the opinion that the writ petition can be disposed by issuing appropriate directions. 5.

Respondent No.2- Deputy Director of Education, Nashik Division is directed to consider the proposal forwarded by the Education Officer (Secondary) as expeditiously as possible and to decide the same in accordance with law, in any case, within six weeks from today. 6.

Writ Petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of.
