Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

This petition is filed on a specific assertion of the petitioner that he was allotted land as far back as in the year 1980 from Gavthan land in the concerned area in recognition of his service as a defence personnel. In that backdrop, specific directions are sought against respondents/revenue officers, including a direction to them to handover possession to the petitioner.

Despite repeated queries put to learned counsel for the petitioner to show an allotment letter or any such document demonstrating and identifying the piece of land from the Gavthan land allotted to the petitioner, the counsel was unable to point out the same on the basis of the documents filed alongwith the writ petition.

A reference was made to only applications submitted before the respondents/Tahsildar and other revenue officers, but the basic allotment letter or document could not be placed before this Court. 5.

On this short ground, we decline to entertain the present petition. Accordingly, it is dismissed.
