The learned Advocate submits that the proposal was given for start of 8th standard in the petitioner's school. The petitioner is a Minority Educational Institution running Urdu Medium school. The said proposal is not decided.

The learned AGP accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. 3.

It appears that on 02.01.2019, the proposal is forwarded by the Director of Education (Primary) to the State Government with the recommendations of the Commissioner. The name of the school run by the petitioner appears at Sr. No. 16 in the said list. The Commissioner has given negative recommendation.

The School Education and Sports Department can take decision on the said proposal on its own merits.

In case, the proposal is pending with the School Education and Sports Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai (Page 11 'J'), then the said department shall take decision upon said proposal forwarded by the Director of Education (Primary) in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and within a period of eight (8) months from today.
