Mr. Kale, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to add acquiring body as party respondent. Mrs. Kutti, the learned counsel waives notice for the acquiring body/respondent No. 4.

We have heard the learned counsel for respective parties. According to the petitioner the award U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act is passed on 13.05.2008, however, amount is not disbursed as yet.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that, the demand is already made by the State to the acquiring body. 4.

In case there is no other impediment, then the respondents are jointly and severely liable to pay the amount of compensation along with interest admissible as per law and as per the award passed U/Sec. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act (Exhibit - A). The respondents shall pay to the concerned persons said amount of compensation within the period of six (06) months from today. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
