1) Heard. The Counsel appearing for the petitioners informs that some proceedings initiated by father of the petitioners in 1961 are still stated to be pending; whereas the Revision application, tendered at the instance of the landlord, is taken up for consideration before the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal (for short, the Tribunal).

2) It is the contention of the petitioners that the earlier proceedings initiated in the year 1961, have bearing on the issue being scrutinized by the Tribunal and as such, it is

desirable to direct the revenue authority below to ascertain and search the proceedings and take appropriate decision in the pending proceedings. 3) It would be open for the petitioners to raise all these contentions, which are interconnected with the proceedings instituted at MRT, before the said forum and make a request for issuance of suitable instructions.

On consideration of the submissions of the petitioners, the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal may take appropriate decision in the matter in accordance with the provisions of law. No interference is called for in the instant petition. The Writ Petition stands rejected with the liberty, as aforesaid.
