CORAM

: MANISH PITALE & Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, JJ.

DATE : 14.08.2025 PER COURT:

1.

In these petitions, the grievance of the petitioners is that the lands/plots allotted to them in lieu of their lands/plots submerged in the Jaikwadi Project were found to be encroached, and therefore they approached the respondent authorities for allotment of alternative pieces of lands/plots.

2.

Documents on record show that the Deputy Collector has directed the concerned Tahsildar to submit a report. The report of the Tahsildar indicates that the proposed alternative lands/plots were available for allotment and that there was no encroachment on such lands/plots. 3.

In that light, we are of the opinion that these petitions can be disposed of by issuing appropriate directions to the respondents. 4.

Accordingly, the respondents are directed to finally decide the proposals submitted by the petitioners for allotment of alternative lands/plots in terms of the present policy of the Respondents - State, including the stipulations given in Government Circular dated 14.10.2021 and Government Resolution dated 14.06.2022.

5.

The said exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from today.

The petitions stand disposed of in above terms. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, J.) (MANISH PITALE, J.) habeeb/
