This petition can be disposed of on a short count. 2.
By this petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider / decide the proposal dated 1 August 2018 submitted by the petitioner / Institution under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme for providing quality education in Madarsas, as notified by Government Resolution dated 10 February 2009. 3.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that such a proposal was sent by the petitioner through the Director of Minority and Adult Education, Maharashtra State, Pune on 1 August 2018. However, the same is not yet decided.

The affidavit-in-reply filed by respondent No. 1 shows that the proposal has been forwarded by the State Government to the Central Government in the Department of School, Education and Literacy, New Delhi on 13 February 2017. Learned Assistant Solicitor General for respondent No.1 states that the respondent No.1 shall decide the same after verifying all the material facts and eligibility of the petitioner and if the Scheme is still in force, within a period of three months. The statement so made is accepted. 5.
In such circumstances, the petition is disposed of. The application / proposal of the petitioner - Institution shall be decided by the Competent Authority of respondent No. 1 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from today.
