The Petitioner initially joined as a Peon on 01.03.2004 and was granted approval on 14.08.2004. He claims that he was promoted as Lab Assistant with effect from 01.06.2009. As approval was not granted, the management finally addressed Respondent No.2 vide communication dated 12.01.2022 praying that the Petitioner's promotion as Lab Assistant may be approved.

Considering the above, and as the communication of the Institution is pending with Respondent No.2, this Petition is disposed off. 3.

We direct Respondent No.2 that the communication dated 12.01.2022 addressed to it by the Principal with regard to the proposal for grant of approval to the promotion of the Petitioner as a Lab Assistant, may be considered strictly in accordance with Rules and the Policies applicable. Let such exercise be completed on or before 30.09.2022.
