The petitioner claims to be a practicing advocate. Respondent Nos. 7 to 9 are alleged to have stolen some trees from his private field. The petitioner therefore, has approached the Forest authorities with a request to register the crime against them under the Forest Act. Since his request was not paid heed to, he approached the higher officer in the Forest department. Still his grievance appears to have not been taken cognizance of. 2.

In our view, the petitioner has equally efficacious remedy in terms of Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., he may avail the same. 3.
