1] Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the present petition is restricted i.e. seeking directions to decide the representation dated 16th February, 2013, for grant of interest under section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act, only. No rental compensation is claimed. Learned counsel further makes a statement that the petitioner has not filed Reference under section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act. 2] In view of that, based on the aforesaid representation, we pass the following order :- [a] The respondent authority shall decide the application/representation (page 46) for grant of interest under Section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act, if pending, on its own merits, in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within six months, after hearing all parties concerned.

[b] Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
