This is an Application by the Acquiring Body for condonation of 1787 days' delay caused in preferring the First Appeal against the Judgment and Award passed by the learned Reference Court enhancing the compensation awarded by the Special Land Acquisition Officer.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the Applicant that, due to administrative reasons and that the Applicant/Acquiring Body had filed the Application for correction of interest before the learned Reference Court, the said delay is caused in preferring the present Application. He submits that the Application be allowed. 3.

Having heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant/ Acquiring Body and for the reasons mentioned in paragraph nos. 3, 4, and 5, the Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B' thereof, subject to deposit of costs of Rs. 2000/- [Rupees Two Thousand] by the Acquiring Body to the Bar Association of Civil Court, Mukhed. 5.
