Heard learned Counsel for petitioner.

By this petition, the petitioner invokes writ jurisdiction in connection with his grievance pertaining to mutation entry. It is claimed that, the mutation entry needs to be cancelled in the facts and circumstances of the present case.

We are of the opinion that, in such matters writ petitions cannot be entertained when a detailed machinery is available under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, for approaching the revenue authorities for raising grievances.

It is obvious that, under the said Code including, Section 247 thereof, the petitioner can approach the Appellate Authorities and seeks appropriate relief.

Learned Counsel for petitioner submits that, the petitioner is entitled to benefit of Government Resolution dated 11.02.2022. The petitioner is at liberty to press for relief under the aforesaid Code on the basis of the said Government Resolution.

In view of the above, Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authorities under the aforesaid Code for redressal of his grievance.
