PER COURT:- 1.

Mr. Golegaonkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending since year 2013. The father of the petitioner is issued with the validity certificate. The result of the petitioner's final year examination is withheld on the ground that the validity is not submitted.

Considering the above, we pass the following order:

ORDER

(1) The respondent no.2 shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner on its own

(2) 958-wp-9266-2018 merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

(2) The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 27.08.2018.

(3) The respondent nos.3 and 4 may not withhold the declaration of the result of the petitioner's final years examination only on the ground that the validation proceedings is pending.

(4) The respondent no.3 and 4 shall issue degree certificate depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the committee in the validation proceedings.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
