PER COURT:- 1.

Mr. Golegaonkar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is studying in the second year B.Tech. (Food Technology) Course. The validation proceeding is pending since year 2015. The college is insisting for full fees. 2.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent nos.1 and 2.

In case, the validation proceedings in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending with respondent no.2, then respondent no.2 shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within seven (07) months from the date of

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 03.09.2018.

The respondent nos.3 and 4 shall not refrain the petitioner, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible, from prosecuting the studies in the second year only on the ground that the validation proceeding is pending. The respondent nos.3 and 4 may not insist the petitioner for full fees till the validation proceeding is pending. Of course, respondent nos.3 and 4 can take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the committee in the validation proceedings.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
