Heard Mr. Ghanekar, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Borulkar, learned counsel appearing for respondent.

This is an application filed by the applicant for regular bail in connection with Crime No. 75 of 2017, registered with Nanalpeth

police station, District Parbhani for the offence punishable under Sections 354, 354(A)(D) of the Indian Penal Code.

The present applicant was arrested in connection with the above offence for outraging modesty of the victim, who is stated to be minor at the time of incident. The applicant was arrested on 20.2.2017. He was available for interrogation.

Considering the nature of accusations against the present applicant, this Court, by order dated 15.3.2017 expressed that it is desirable to keep the applicant behind bars for some time, so, this Court may not grant relief for one more month. Due to this, learned counsel appearing for the applicant, on instructions, withdrawn the earlier application for bail. This was expressed by this Court on 15.3.2017. Now near about 31⁄2 months have elapsed.

Looking to the above aspect, the Criminal Application is allowed.

Applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 75 of 2017, registered with Nanalpeth police station, District Parbhani on furnishing P.R. bond of Rs. 5,000/- with one surety in the like amount.

Criminal Application is disposed of.
