The petitioners have put forth prayer clause B as under :- "B) By issuing appropriate writ, order, direction to the respondent No.3 and 4 may kindly be directed to hold the examination of the Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University by following MCQ pattern only in consonance with the circular dated 28.04.2022."

It is stated that the examinations are already over and there was no specific mandate by the State Government that the examinations should be conducted only by following the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern.

None of the students, who have appeared for

The communication issued by the Desk Officer, Department of Higher and Technical Education, State of Maharashtra, dated 23.06.2022 is relied upon wherein, it is advised that all the Vice Chancellors of the Non Agricultural Universities may come together and take a decision as regards an uniform pattern for conducting the examinations. Obviously, this was at the stroke of 2021-2022 final examinations, which are already over.
