The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, since the year 2018, the validation proceeding is pending with the committee. The same is not decided. The petitioner has already appeared for the last year B. Tech examination. The result is also not declared.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for respondent Nos. 1 and 2.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 30th July, 2021. The committee shall endeavour to decide the proceeding, on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The respondent

2 wp 7906.21 No. 3 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's final examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. However, the degree certificate and other documents may not be given to the petitioner unless the validity certificate is produced by the petitioner.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
