The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that impugned order was passed by the learned Registrar General holding that revision is not maintainable before the said authority under the Money Lenders Act. He points out that now in view of the order passed by this court dated 12-09-2024 in review application (civil) No. 196/2024. It is held that revision is maintainable before the learned Registrar General under

(2) Section 9 of the Maharashtra Money Lending (Regulation) Act, 2014. In view of the same, he submits that revision before the learned Registrar General can be restored by setting aside the order.

The learned advocate for the respondents concedes to the said position.

In view of the same, writ petition stands disposed off with direction to the learned Registrar General of Money Lenders to restore the revision application No. 17/2021. 4.

The parties to appear before the learned Registrar General of Money Lenders on 16-12-2024.

No separate notice is required for that purpose.

If the parties remain present before the learned Registrar General of Money Lenders it is expected to decide the said revision by the end of 31-03-2025.
