The Petitioners desire that an enquiry should be initiated in an allegation against the Block Development Officer of Khultabad Panchayat Samiti, of allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct. 2.

The Petitioners have not approached the Election Commission of India or any other appropriate authority which may have the jurisdiction to initiate such an enquiry. So also, the Election Commission of India is not made a party to this Petition. 3.

Nevertheless, this Petition need not be entertained. The Writ Petition is, therefore, disposed off. If the Petitioners desire to approach an appropriate authority for redressal of their grievance, they are at liberty to do so, subject to the provisions of law, as may be applicable. ( Y. G.
