Mr.Deshmukh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Respondent No.4 has forwarded the proposal seeking approval to the transfer of the petitioner from non-grant-in-aid post to the grant-in-aid post with the Respondent No.2, however, the Respondent No.2 has not taken any decision on the said proposal for almost two (2) years.

Learned Assistant Govt. Pleader submits that in case the said proposal is pending with Respondent No.2 then Respondent No.2 would decide it on its own merits.

In light of that, we pass the following order: a) In case the proposal (page 14) is submitted by the Respondent No.4 to Respondent No.2 and it is pending with

Respondent No.2 then the Respondent No.2 shall decide the said proposal on its own merits in accordance with law and also expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months. b) The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
