The grievance is that the Steno working in the office of the Land Acquisition Officer, has superannuated on 31.01.2024 and since there is no Steno, the Presiding officer is adjourning the matters. The Petitioners matter is also adjourned because there is no Steno.

Since the representation is addressed to the Divisional Commissioner, Ch. Sambhajinagar, we would expect the said Authority to post a Steno in the said office for the smooth functioning of the Department, as soon as possible and preferably before 31.07.2024.

We grant liberty to the office of the Divisional Commissioner to find out if there are any retired Stenos from various Authorities who are willing to work on re-employment or on contractual assignment, provided that there is a dearth of Stenos in the office of the Divisional Commissioner. 5.
