Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioner and learned AGP. 2.

The petitioner's proposal is awaiting decision by the respondent/Scrutiny Committee for validation of his tribe certificate since November, 2023.

Learned AGP on instructions, submits that the Committee would decide the petitioner's proposal within six weeks. 4.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has cleared JEE(ADV) and intends to secure admission, some decision needs to be taken by the Committee at the earliest.

The petitioner's father possesses certificate of validity issued in

2 931-WP-6132-2024.doc the year 2008. The petitioner is ready to a reply in vigilance report conducted at that time. Apart from father, first degree cousin also possesses a certificate of validity.

In view of the above, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the Committee to endeavour to decide the petitioner's proposal as expeditiously as possible and if it so thinks fit by serving him a copy of a vigilance report prepared at the time of father's claim, and in any case to decide his proposal finally within three weeks.
