In both these petitions, the petitioners are identically placed. Both have tendered their representations set out in prayer Clause (C). 2.

The petitioners rely upon the order dated 17.01.2012 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.333/2012, which reads as under:

"The petition is disposed of with directions to respondents No.3 and 4, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.01.2012 for posting the petitioner within a radius of 30 km from the place at which the petitioner's husband is posted."

The learned Advocate representing the respondent Zilla Parishad submits that the representations would be considered strictly in accordance with the policy applicable to transfer by way of couple arrangement and if the petitioners are found eligible, their case may be considered.

In view of the above, both these petitions are disposed off. The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad shall consider the representations of both these petitioners, strictly in accordance with the provisions/ Government Resolution/Policies applicable and preferably, on or before 30.08.2022.
