The petitioner submits that his validity claim of belonging to 'Thakur' scheduled tribe is pending adjudication from 16.12.2021. There are four validity holders in the family. He prays for an expeditious decision, since he is presently pursuing education in the law course.

The learned AGP for the Committee submits that the claim would be decided within six months.

Considering that, there are four validity holders amongst the blood relatives of the petitioner, we would expect the Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner, on or before 30th December, 2022. The petitioner would render cooperation to the Committee and shall refrain from seeking an adjournment on unreasonable or trivial grounds, lest the Committee would progress to the next stage in the proceedings.
