The petitioner approached this Court seeking direction to respondent No. 1 to take action as provided under Sections 10 and 11 of the Regulation of Caste Verification Certificate Act, 2000 against respondent No. 3 pursuant to invalidation of his caste certificate as belonging to Mahadev Koli Scheduled Tribe. 3.

It is the admitted position that, respondent No. 1/State Government initiated action against respondent No. 3. The action is in the form of termination of services of respondent No. 3, which is the subject matter of an independent petition filed by respondent No. 3 bearing Writ Petition No. 842 of 2018. Considering this fact, we are of the clear opinion that, the purpose of approaching this Court is now duly served and no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this PIL pending. As such, the Public Interest Litigation is disposed of.

Needless to state, as the PIL is disposed of, the connected Writ Petition and the Review Application be de-tagged and placed before the appropriate Court.
