Petitioners are objecting to notice dated 03.06.2016 issued by respondent no. 3 - Additional Collector, hingoli, in respect of holding of election to the post of Sarpanch of village Savargaon Bungla, Tq. & Dist. Hingoli on the ground that there is vacancy of member of Village Panchayat which has not yet been filled in. The mandate of proviso to section 43 prescribing timeframe for conducting election to the post of Sarpanch shall have to be adhered to and, in view thereof, the grievance raised by petitioner in the instant petition does not deserve consideration. Petition is devoid of substance hence stands rejected.
