Learned Counsel appearing for respondent Scrutiny Committee informs on instructions that the hearing in respect of proposal for validation of the social status claim of the petitioner is already complete and the decision would be rendered by the Committee within eight weeks from today. The statement is accepted. Time is extended by eight weeks for taking decision in the matter. Respondent no.2 has presented an affidavit in reply where it has been stated that the petitioner has been permitted to prosecute the studies and complete the internship. 3.

In view of the statement made in the affidavit placed on record, the grievance raised by the applicant in the contempt application stands redressed.
