Mr. Wagh, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending since the year - 2004. The vigilance has been conducted. The statement of the father of the petitioner is also recorded in the year - 2009, but as yet the proceeding is not decided. The petitioner intends to appear for competitive examination.

We have also heard the learned A.G.P. for respondents.

In case the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending, then respondent no. 2 / Scrutiny Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 02.07.2019.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
