The grievance of the Petitioners is that, after the order of disqualification under Section 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1958, the Petitioners have preferred an Appeal dated 03/06/2024. Respondent No.1/Hon'ble Minister, Rural Development Department, Mumbai, has still not facilitated a hearing in the matter.

The learned Government Pleader submits that the Stay Application filed by the Petitioners in the said Appeal would be considered until 15/07/2024.
