PER COURT :- 1.

An application tendered by petitioner no.1 for granting Project Affected Person's certificate in favour of petitioner no.2 has been turned down by the Tehsildar in view of the order passed on 24.4.2013. The Tehsildar has referred to the Government Resolution dated 9th August, 1995, for taking decision of rejection of the application tendered by the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner makes a reference to the subsequent Government Resolution dated 22nd May, 1996 and, according to him, in view of the said Government Resolution, his prayer is liable to be considered.

Without expressing any opinion as regards merits of the contentions raised by the petitioner, we direct the Tehsildar to reconsider the application tendered by the petitioner in the light of the Government Resolution dated 22nd May, 1996, and other related Government Resolutions. The Tehsildar shall take appropriate decision within a period of eight weeks from today.
