Learned Advocate for the appellant is absent. Learned APP is pointing out that appellant has been arrested in this case on 18.06.2023. He also points out that appellant was produced before the learned Special Judge and thereafter police custody was granted. The appellant in this case was challenging the rejection of his bail application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the learned Special Judge. Though this Court has granted interim protection on 19.06.2023, it appears that it was in ignorance of the fact that the appellant was already arrested on 18.06.2023

Cri.Appeal_493_2023 and that intimation appears to have not been given to the learned Advocate for the appellant by his client.
