We have considered the submissions of the learned advocate for the petitioners in the light of the prayers put forth. A writ of mandamus is sought to be invoked. The petitioners have not yet approached the acquiring body.

It is prayed that as there has been revaluation of the house properties and the communication has been sent by the Executive Engineer, PWD, Nanded, dated 22.06.2022 to the Sub

*2* 15wp7530a7534o22 Divisional Officer-cum-Land Acquisition Officer, Kandhar, the petitioners could claim the compensation based on such revaluation by approaching the acquiring body. 3.

Respondent No.3 has filed a short affidavit in reply in both these matters.

The petitioners have not yet approached the acquiring body and have straightaway approached this Court. 5.

As such, these Writ Petitions are disposed off with liberty to the petitioners to approach the acquiring body and pray for payment of compensation. All contentions are kept open. We expect the acquiring body to consider the representation of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within 45 days from the date of receipt of such representation. kps (ARUN R.
