The petitioner has challenged the common judgment and order dated 30.04.2024 passed by respondent No.2/ Scrutiny Committee invalidating the petitioner's claim for 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe.

The impugned order is a common order in the matter of the petitioner and four other persons. The impugned order was subject matter of challenge in separate Writ Petition filed by Vaishnavi Sunil Taru bearing Writ Petition No.6696/2024, which was decided by this Court along with another Writ Petition No.6759/2024 filed by Sanjana Amol Taru.

By the judgment and order dated 13.08.2024, Writ Petition No.6696/2024 was decided after considering the factual and legal aspects and the impugned order was quashed and set aside to the extent of Vaishnavi Sunil Taru. In view of the reasons stated while deciding Writ Petition No.6696/2024, the instant Writ Petition, which is also raising challenge to the impugned order dated 30.04.2024, also needs to be allowed. Hence, the following order:- (a) The Writ Petition is partly allowed.
(b) The impugned order dated 30.04.2024 is quashed and set aside also to the extent of the petitioner. (c) Respondent No.2/ Scrutiny Committee is directed to immediately issue a tribe validity certificate of 'Koli Mahadev', Scheduled Tribe, to the petitioner in the prescribed format without adding anything.
(d) The validity certificate shall be subject to the final outcome of the matters, which the Committee has decided to reopen.
