The present application is filed for permitting the applicants to withdraw the interest on the amount of fixed deposit in the name of minors in order to meet their day-to-day expenses and educational expenses. It is brought to my notice that, Rs.6,11,000/- is invested in Fixed Deposit Receipt in the name of minors. The request so made appears to be quite justifiable. I am, therefore, inclined to accept the said request. Hence the following order.

ORDER

(i) The amount of interest earned till date on the fixed

2 8763.2018.CA.doc deposits in the names of minors amounting to Rs.6,11,000/- shall be paid to applicant no.1.

(ii) Applicant no.1 shall also be entitled to receive the quarterly interest on the aforesaid deposited amount till decision of the present appeal.

(iii) Civil Application stands disposed of.
