The Special Land Acquisition Officer ("S.L.A.O.") awarded compensation @ Rs.425/- per R, whereas the reference Court enhanced it to Rs.1,700/- per R. The enhancement is below four times of the amount awarded by the S.L.A.O. It is the policy of government not to prefer appeal in the cases wherein the enhancement is not more than four times. No exceptional case is made out for admitting the appeals. 1 / 2
