PER COURT:- 1.

Ms. Mahajan, learned counsel for petitioners submits that the proposal is given for start of Secondary School (8th to 10th) in Urdu Medium. The proposal is pending. The Education Officer has forwarded it to the Deputy Director of Education, but no further steps are taken. The learned counsel submits that petitioners are running school upto 7th standard.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all respondents.

In case, proposal of petitioners for start of Secondary School (8th to 10th) in Urdu Medium is pending, then the Deputy Director of Education

(2) 17-wp-7294-2019 shall with his noting forward it to the State Government, as it is submitted that it is a State Government who is Authority to take decision upon it. The respondent-Authority shall thereafter take decision upon the proposal seeking grant of Secondary School (8th to 10th) to petitioners on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably before the start of next academic year.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
