This contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of order dated 30th January, 2017 passed in group of writ petition, one of which is Writ Petition No. 7398 of 2016. Relevant paragraph of the said order reads thus :- "3.

In this group of petitions, the petitioners have sought relief, directing the concerned Authority, mentioned in the petitions, to decide their applications/representations/proposals. This being the only prayer pressed into service before us, these petitions can be disposed of by directing the competent Authorities in the respective petitions to decide the petitioners' applications/representations/proposals, on merits and in accordance with law, expeditiously and in any case within a period of twelve weeks from today. All contentions of all the parties are kept open."

Learned counsel for Respondent No.2 submits that the application/representation of the petitioner has been decided and the petitioner has been accordingly communicated by letter dated 10th January, 2025. He provides copy of the said letter to learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

In view of above, the contempt petition stands disposed of as order has been complied with.
