We have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.P.

Since 24.2.2018, we are adjourning the

matter at the request of learned A.G.P. to take instructions, however, till today no affidavit is filed by the Respondents.

Mr.Salgare, learned counsel for the petitioners states that all the petitioners have passed CET examination conducted in the year 2010 and have secured more than 50% marks. They have necessary qualification for being considered as Urdu Primary Teachers. There are vacant posts available in the schools run by the local selfGovernment. The Respondents can appoint the petitioners on the said vacant posts as stop gap arrangement.

Learned A.G.P. states that there are candidates available who have passed TET examination and in December 2017, aptitude and intelligence test is also conducted wherein all those who had passed TET have appeared and in online process the said posts would be filled in. 5.

In fact, the Respondents ought to have given information with regard to the vacant posts

and the number of candidates available with them and thereafter can consider the case of the petitioners by way of stop gap arrangement till other eligible candidates are available.

The petitioners have already tendered representation on 10.2.2017 (page 146). The Respondent Nos.1 and 2 shall consider the application of the petitioners and take decision upon it in accordance with their policy and Rules expeditiously, preferably within two (2) months. 7.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
