After the hearing in this matter progressed to some length, the learned Advocate for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the petitioner would prefer a remedy of approaching the Civil Court for getting the dispute as regards the date of birth of the petitioner, resolved. He, therefore, prays for leave to withdraw this petition.

In view of the above, this petition stands disposed off as withdrawn. The petitioner would be at liberty to avail of a remedy as is permissible in law.
