PER COURT :- In the affidavit in reply presented on behalf of the State, it has been recorded that certain information is called for from the College and on receipt of the information, the proposal for grant of scholarship would be scrutinized and steps would be taken to release the amount to the students. It is informed that, out of 25 students, information in respect of 9 students was received and their proposals were processed and scholarship amounting to Rs.7,89,678/- has been released in favour of the concerned students. It is further stated that, on receipt of necessary information/documents, the proposal in respect of other students would be processed and appropriate decision would be taken in respect of release of scholarship. The College shall furnish necessary information within a period of one month from today and on receipt of information, the proposals shall be processed within a period of six weeks thereafter the amount shall be disbursed to the eligible students.
