Mr. Gadhe, the learned counsel submits that, the father of the petitioner was serving as helper with the respondents. He died on 16.09.2004. On 17.12.2004 the petitioner filed an application seeking appointment on compassionate ground. The said application is not yet decided. In fact, the Establishment Officer communicated to the respondent No. 1 that, he has verified the application and found some lacunas. The learned counsel submits that, the petitioner rectified the said lacunas. Thereafter on 25.04.2006, the Establishment Officer communicated the respondent No. 3 that, the application form of

2 wp 6671.15 the petitioner has not been verified by the Circle Office. On 18.11.2006, the respondent No. 4 communicated to the respondent No. 1 that the compliance has been made by the petitioner. The learned counsel submits that, now the proposal (Page 37 Exhibit - R) is pending with the respondent No. 3. 2.

We have also heard Mr. Mundhe, the learned counsel for respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

In case, the proposal of the petitioner is pending with the respondent No. 3 and the same is not yet decided, then the respondent No. 3 shall take decision upon it on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months from today. In case some defects exist, the petitioner may rectify the same. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
