The petitioner is merely seeking direction to the respondent - Scrutiny Committee for deciding the proposal at the earliest. 3.

Admittedly, the proposal is awaiting decision at the hands of the committee since the year 2019.

It is being informed that petitioner's blood relatives have been issued with certificates of validity by the division bench at the 1/2

917.WP.6576.2024.odt Principal Seat and subsequently, one of them has been granted validity pursuant to the orders of this Court. It is also being submitted that those validities are subject to the final outcome of the review which the Committee had intended to prefer in respect of the order passed at the principal seat. We are also informed that the review was preferred way back in the year 2019 and since thereafter it is still to be decided. 5.

In the wake of above circumstances coupled with the fact that the petitioner intends to secure admission though the current admission process to a professional course, we dispose of the writ petition directing the scrutiny committee to decide the proposal as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four weeks. 6.

In the peculiar circumstances, even the Committee may consider passing of an order directing certificate of validity to be issued to the petitioner subject to the conditions which we have been incorporating making the validity depended upon the final outcome of the decision in the matter in which the Committee has preferred a review petition.
