I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant for some time.

Since this Court has expressed disinclination to grant bail to the applicant for the reason that there is every possibility of committing the similar offence, if released on bail and tampering of the prosecution evidence, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw this application. The learned counsel for the applicant, however, submits that the applicant is detained in jail for having committed an offence punishable under Section 354-A, 504, 506 of IPC and Section 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act

916-BA.1170-20.odt and the maximum punishment in aggregate is not more than 5 years. The learned counsel submits that the applicant is a poor person earning his livelihood by pulling rickshaw manually thus, the necessary directions may be given to the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of the case.

The application is disposed off as withdrawn. 5.

In view of the above, the Trial Court is hereby directed to dispose off the case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
