The order in Writ Petition No. 2709 of 2023, is dated 08.03.2023. It was directed that the proposal with regard to the acquisition of land of the Petitioner shall be taken to its logical end within a reasonable period. Even after the passage of 15 months, there has not been much progress.

The learned AGP submits on instructions from the Respondents, more specifically from Respondent No.4 - Shri Shrimant Harkar, that the proceedings would be concluded within 4 (four) months and the amount would be paid within 30 days thereafter.

Today, the learned AGP places before us a Communication dated 19.07.2024, which is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification.

It be noted that if the above statement is not complied with, the conduct of all the respondents would be termed as aggravated term. 5.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that in view of the above, this Petition can be disposed off. 6.

Hence, this Petition stands disposed off.
