Heard learned advocate for the applicants.

This application is filed by the wife seeking transfer of matrimonial proceedings from the Court of learned Judge, Family Court, Osmanabad to the Court of learned Judge, Family Court, Latur.

The learned advocate for the applicants submits that, the present proceeding is filed by the husband for divorce in the Court at Osmanabd. Already there is proceeding filed under the

2 956-MCA 185-2025.odt Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act which is pending in the Court at Latur where, the husband has already appeared. He submits that, the distance between two places is about 100 Kms. The applicant-wife find it difficult to travel to Osmanabad. She stays with her two minor children and she has to look after them. There is no one to accompany her to travel to attend the Court proceedings.

In spite of service, respondent has not appeared. This Court infers that, the respondent has no objection to transfer the proceedings and also for the reasons stated above, this Court is inclined to allow the application. Hence, following order :

ORDER

(I) Misc. Civil Application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (B).

(II) After transfer of the proceeding, the learned Judge shall try to dispose of the same as early as possible and preferably within eighteen months from today.

(III) The applicant-wife shall not seek any unnecessary adjournments. If such adjournments are sought, the Court may

3 956-MCA 185-2025.odt pass appropriate order compensating the husband. (IV) If the husband makes a prayer to appear through video conferencing, such prayer be considered liberally by the Trial Court.
