The petitioner has been granted 10 days furlough on condition of attending Mumbra Police Station everyday. 2.

The learned advocate for petitioner places on record the documents indicating the petitioner to have regularly attended the concerned Police Station. On account of the petitioner to have overstayed furlough in the past, he was not granted the same for over seven years. He is expected to surrender on 20th of this month. Since the permissible limit of furlough is of 28 days and the petitioner has been granted 10 days furlough, we are inclined to grant him further 18 days of furlough on the same conditions as per order dated 14th July, 2023. Post furlough is over, the petitioner shall surrender back to the jail.
